Harvests mid October. Excellent distinctive flavour, allegedly the 'perfect' cider apple! Tree – Growth and cropping moderate. Slow to start bearing. Susceptible to scab and canker.

Planted on M26 root as a rare variety from Bernwode in 2009. This is new for them in the last few years, so I believe that it may be one of the first of the re-introductions.  Has been recorded as providing a high quality apple.

Harvests end October. Fruity aroma, high quality, for single variety cider or blending. Tree – Slow and very twiggy. Resistant to scab, highly susceptible to mildew.
