Chunks of apple once they have been milled – in case you were wondering what scrattings were!

This website, ciderworkshop.com, is the online scrapbook of things that have either come out of the Cider Workshop Google group discussions or else have been created by Cider Workshop members, but dont yet quite fit in to other categories. It will develop, as the group develops, into a resource that shows the character of the members of the group.

Why scrattings? Well, imagine taking a range of different varieties of apples and putting them all through a fruit mill. The pomace (or scrattings) are a blend of all the different types; macerating and mixing together...
